Tumuñan Lodge is located at the head of the Colchagua valley only 2 hours drive south of Santiago and under an hour from Santa Cruz, in the foothills of the Andes Mountains.

The area is perfect for those who wish to combine adventure activities such as horse riding and fly fishing with the culture and wine tasting available in Chile’s Colchagua valley.

 

Ancient oak forests, active volcanoes, hot springs and massive glaciers make the mountains that surround the Lodge some of the most spectacular in Chile. A large variety of flora and fauna abound, such as the Andean Condor, Guanacos and rare species of plants, trees and wildflowers.

 

To the west of Tumunan Lodge lies the Colchagua valley, famous world-wide for its fine wines. As well as the wineries, there is some fine colonial architecture, shops, restaurants and the Colchagua Museum in Santa Cruz which exhibits one of the finest collections of fossils and pre-Columbian Arts in South America.
